Controls Engineering Intern
Description
As a Controls Engineering Intern, you will support product development activities for the INNIO Jenbacher gas engines business, assist Lead and Advanced Engineers with documentation and software-related tasks, and continuously learn about the product as well as state-of-the-art development processes and tools.

Your responsibilities:
- Learn and support development processes
- Setup simulation environment for different engine types and scenarios to support validation activities of new features
- Learn and use requirement gathering tools (Wiki, Codebeamer) and help with documenting code features
- Participate in sprint meetings, prepare user story related work
- Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the leader/manager or Lead Engineers assigns verbally or in writing.
Your profile:
- Ongoing Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering or relating Computer Engineering (IT) studies
- Minimum availability to work for at least 20-25 hours/week
- Basic understanding of power generation and distribution
- Basic experience with automation and controls (PLC), understanding of sensors and actors
- Communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
- Willingness to learn new design and software tools
